P4me Site PortalSpecial Notice: The mail server for p4me.net is currently not working. The server admins are looking into the problem, but for the time being none of the p4me.net mail addresses are available. I have set up a temporary email address for the site, please send any emails to p4me AT ltmnet.com (just replace AT with @), if you have sent email in the past few weeks and have not received a reply, please resend your message to the above address. Thank you. Welcome to p4me.net a site dedicated to 4mm/foot finescale railway modelling. Use the buttons above or the Site Map to navigate around the site. Use the location bar above to come back to this page easily. P4 Made Easy is the original area of the site which is all about modelling in P4. There you will find an explanation of what P4 is, both technically and practically. There is also a section dealing with some of the myths surrounding P4, with proof that it isn't as difficult as some people would have you believe. DCC contains some usefull tables showing comparisons between the differant Digital Command Control Systems, and a jargon buster to explain some of the terms used in DCC. Resources is a bit of a hotch potch of various handy diagrams and pictures covering many topics, from layout wiring and circuit design, to P4 conversions of proprietary stock, and even some layout diagrams. Well worth a browse through. The Forum is a place for finescale modellers to come together to discuss their models, ask for help, or just chat with likeminded people. Links is what it sounds like, a collection of links to other model railway sites, including manufacturers of kits and components, and ready to run models, as well as software for model railways, and sites showcasing modellers layouts. And Finally, please sign the guest book, and let us know what you think of the site. I would like to see this site become a reference source for all railway modellers, with infomation gathered from many people of all skill and experience levels. If you would like to submit something to the site, such as a myth, article, or a handy tip you think may be of interest to other modellers, please contact me via the Links page, or the email link at the top of the page. This site will continue to grow to suit the needs of railway modellers whether they model P4 or one of the many other scale/gauge combinations, your suggestions and comments are what makes this happen, so please help this site help you by making suggestions via the Forum, the Guest Book or by emailing me directly |
