P4 Made Easy

Hello and welcome to the new look P4 Made Easy.

The aim of this site is to bring together an overview of what P4 modelling is, and what it requires. It is also here to show that P4 modelling is not as difficult as some people would have you believe, take a look at the P4 Myths section and you will see that alot of what is said about P4 isn't necessarily true, and that P4 is in some cases easier to work in than EM or 00 gauge.

What is P4? has a short history of model gauges, and explains what P4 means, how it was developed, and why some modellers choose P4 over EM or 00. There is also a table showing the dimensions used for P4 track and wheel standards.
